A new Apase of Egba Muslims has been appointed, he is Haj Tajudeen Gbolahan Tijani, the first son of the late Business Tycoon and immediate past Apase Musulumi Egba, Chief Mutairu Ayinla Tijani.
Making the pronouncement today, at the 8th Day Fidau of Chief Tijani, the BabaAdeen of Egbaland and Balogun Itoko, Navy Captain Rasheed Adisa Raji said that his late father had used the title and position excellently well and it was very appropriate to sustain his exemplary love and support and Philanthropy by honouring another qualified member of his family.
Chief Rasheed Raji admonished the new Apase of Egba Muslims to fast track necessary protocols towards his installation.
Accepting the honour, the new Apase of Egba Muslims, Alhaji Chief Tajudeen Gbolahan Tijani, thanked the Egba Muslims, especially the BabaAdeen, for the honour done his father, which was being extended and retained within the family, as a very great and memorable honour to MATS extended family.
Chief Tajudeen Gbolahan Tijani pledged to continue the legacy of their Patriarch by doing the needful towards Egba Muslims Community in particular and the Islam in general.
The occasion was witnessed by some Egba General Title Chiefs including the Asiwaju Babalaje Olootu OgoOluwa Bankole; the Adaranijo, Chief Lawrence Bankole and the Aare Baaroyin, Layi Labode.
