The Chief Imam of Egbaland, Sheikh Saadallah Bamgbola, has called on Muslims to do what he would like to be remembered for after his demise.
The Chief Imam who was speaking at the burial of the Aare Muslims of Egbaland Alhaji Yunus Adeshina on Tuesday, 17 November, 2020 in Agbowolori -Kawo Compound, Ijaye, Gbangba, Abeokuta.
Chief Imam Sa’adallah, noted that late Chief Yunus Adeshina, who was also the Balogun Muslims of Ijaye, was unpretentiously a good Community leader both in Lagos and Egbaland adding that he had a legacy of a good Muslim for people to emulate.
Egba Chief Imam recalled that the late Aare Egba Muslims, died peacefully in cause of Allah and Islamic faith and Muslims welfare in general.
The Alfa Mufasir of Egbaland, Taofeek Amolegbe, in his sermon on the occasion, said that, every human had a resting place either at Paradise or Hell fire, depending on he lived on earth.
Alfa Taofeek Amolegbe admonished the family and relations ll1 the good works of the late Aare Egba Muslims, to ensure his final passage Paradise.
He reminded Muslims to always remember that whatever they had and cherish while alive, automatically belongs to other people, adding that inordinate acquisition of material a wealth does not guarantee good and pious life, unless it was deployed to the service of Allah and humanity.
The burial of the Aare Muslims of Egbaland and Balogun Muslims of Ijaye, Chief Yunus Adeshina, was attended by many Egba Muslim Clerics and Community leaders.
The Clerics included, Imam Owu, Alhaji Kehinde, the Alatunse Egba, Imam lbara , lmam Gbagura , lmam ljaye , lmam Okeona , lmam Owu, Lazan Egba, Mufasiru Egba and Imam Abese, Imam Okeditoko; Mufasiru Owu
The Ologun Chiefs present at the ceremony included Olootu Adeen Egba, Layi Labode, the Alafin, Alhaji Musbau Babarinsa, the BabaAdeen, Tunji Labode; the Asiwaju, Alhaji Akanbi Tekobo; Ahaji Olusesi, the Ekerin Ijaye, Alhaji Tajudeen OgoOluwa, the Alafin Ijaye; Alhaji Wola Salau, Sarumi Ijaye.
The Oluwo Ijaye, Chief Samson Olawore was accompanied by the Baaroyin Ijaye to the occasion.
