Egba foremost Cultural Club, the Abeokuta Club, is to induct 59 new members, who consist of notable businessmen, academics, and professionals, on Saturday, 16th of October, 2021, at the Millennium Hall, Abeokuta Club, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
According to the Social and Publicity Secretary of the Foremost Egba Cultural Club, Chief Ayo Koleade, all arrangements had been concluded to make the occasion a rewarding one.
He congratulated the new 55 members whom he described as qualitative and committed Egbas who were ready to join in the movement to make Egba greater.
Chief Koleade, who is also the Chairman of Publicity Committee of the Abeokuta Club, advised the new members to come with their friends and families to make the occasion greater by supporting new and ongoing projects of the Club.
The Social Publicity Committee Chairman also informed the inductees that they would have the opportunity of meeting those who had been making the Club thicker and greater since the foundation of the Club more than 40 years ago.
The iconic men include the Grand Patron, His Majesty, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland; the Patrons, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, and the Odole of Ife Chief (Sir) Kensington Adebukola Adebutu.
Other Royal fathers/Patrons expected at the induction of the new members are the Osile of Oke Ona, Oba Adedapo Tejuoso, the Agura of Gbagura, Oba Babajide Saburee Bakre, Olowu of Owu, Oba Adegboyega Dosunmu, alongside other Egba dignitaries and their friends from all parts of the Federation and Diaspora.
The Newsflagship learnt that each of the 59 inductees had been allocated special lots to receive their visitors and loved ones exclusively and exquisitely.
