The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR has authorized the reconstruction of some inherited roads.
The roads comprises the 13km Sagamu-Ode Lemo road, 8km Erunwon-Atan road, the 8km Mowe-Ofada Road and the Old Bank Road-Oritameje-Coker Junction-Oluomo Spur Road.
The government said it embarked on the projects for the convenience of the motorists and residents of the State.
Work is already ongoing on the Erunwon-Atan Road and Sagamu-Ode Lemo Road.
However, the statement disclosed that work would soon begin on the Mowe-Ofada Road in Obafemi Owode LGA and Old Bank Road-Oritameje-Coker Junction-Oluomo Spur Road in Ifo LG
A government statement explained that the approved projects would be accomplished within the construction periods set for them.
The Ogun State Government therefore appealed to everyone to endure till the completion of the projects.
The statement also pleaded that the residents of Ogun state should always obey traffic laws, and drive cautiously in order to avoid accidents.
