The Allied Congress Party of Nigeria has threatened to sue its former presidential candidate Oby Ezekwesili after leaving the platform.

The National Chairman of ACPN AlhajiGaniyuGaladima,while addressing journalist in Abuja said, Ezekwesili only used the party platform as a stepping stone to negotiate for the position of Finance Minister and had failed to inform the party before withdrawing.

He said she lacked proper campaign strategy, showing no sign of seriousness and had brought nothing tangible to the table during campaign.

Galadima further stated that the party had given her the platform as a means of showing support to women in politics when she could not afford the parties ticket.

He also said Ezekwesili had used the party platrorm to raise fund of about $5000 and N35 million and when confronted, she had agreed to transfer the money when needed.

He said the party is most likely to sue her to court.

He further disclosed the parties decision to support President Muhammadu Buhari for reelectoincome February 16. Ezekwesili has however promised to account for all funds donated to her campaign .
