The Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has directed the immediate termination of the appointment of the Director General, State Security Service, Lawal Musa Daura over the blockade of the National Assembly today.
Mr. Daura has been directed to hand over to the most senior officer of the State Security Service until further notice.

A statement by Laolu Akande, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity said.
Meanwhile, a combined team of the Police and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) have reportedly arrested and detained the sacked Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Lawal Daura.
Reports say Daura was arrested just shortly after he was sacked by the Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo for “breaching national security.”
