The founder and Chairman of Adejare Adegbenro Foundation, Chief Nurudeen Adejare Adegbenro, the Asiwaju Ogbeni Oja of Awowo Town near Abeokuta has commended the Alake for rallying the people of Egbaland to come to the aid of the Egbas and the residents.
Said that the way and manner the Alake had been handling the situation of Hunger virus alongside Corona Virus, had again showed the quality of the leadership of the Alake and Paramount Ruler in the Egba Nation.
Otunba Adejare Adegbenro, gave the commendation while delivering relief packages to the Alake on behalf of his Foundation, at the Ake Palace, Abeokuta.
Speaking on behalf of the Foundation Chairman, the Director General of the Foundation, Mr Mutiu Amoje said that they became more aware and noted the amount of pressure on the Alake to feed something like the BibLlical feeding of the Multitude by Jesus Christ, and had to join well meaning Egbas to support Alake’s Relief Programme for the masses.
Chief Adejare Adegbenro said his Foundation would continue to play its humanitarian and succoured roles in Egbaland and elsewhere.
Accepting the Relief Materials, comprising 250 packs of rice on behalf of the Alake, the Bantun Egba, Chief Kehinde Sofenwa, said that the Alake of Egbaland had already noticed the love and passion of Chief Adejare Adegbenro for the good people of Egbaland and would soon be recognized, he also thanked the Founder and Chairman of the Adejare Adegbenro Foundation for his humanitarian gesture.
