The Chancellor of of the Alex Ekweme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, was on Tuesday, 15 December, 2020, Royal Guest of Honour at the Special 5th Convocation of the Varsity’s Christmas and Cultural Night at Abakaliki.
The Alake and his entourage, were thrilled by the AE-FUNAI Cultural and Choir Group at Osborne Guest House, Abakaliki.
The Christmas Carol and Cultural Night, also served as an occasion to appreciate and in advance, bid farewell to the outgoing Vice Chancellor, Professor Nwajuiba, whose tenure ends on January 20, next year.
The AE-FUNAI Choir rendered perfectly well, the Egba National Anthem and Oba Adedotun Gbadebo’s Royalty Anthem.
The occasion was well attended by the FUNAI’s Senior Staff and some students.
Alake’s entourage at the session included Balogun Sikirullah Atobatele, Oba Femi Solaja- Olu ObadaOko, AgbaAkin Rasheed Raji, Ambassador Okanlawon, Bantun Kehinde Sofenwa, Baamowe Professor Ajao Adelekan and Baaroyin Layi Labode.
