The present administration in Ogun State has assured Civil servants of affordable housing that their take home could accommodate.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing, Jagunmolu Akande Omoniyi who gave this hint in a chat with journalists during his familiarization visit to the Ministry, said housing has been identified as essential element in human’s need, noting that this administration is proposing a massive ground breaking that would cut across the three Senatorial Districts during the first 100 days in office.
Omoniyi noted that government would partner with private developers to invest in the housing sector, saying that it intends to collaborate with stakeholders, such as a Federal Mortgage Bank (FMB) and National Housing Fund (NHF), in order to get the job done and deliver affordable housing to the citizentry.
In his address, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Housing, Engr. Abimbola Abiodun, lauded the State Governor, Dr. Dapo Abiodun for appointing Jagunmolu Omoniyi as the Special Adviser on Housing, assuring that the ministry would not relent in its effort to support the set goals of the present administration.
