Nigeria Super Eagles loss the final leg ticket to Algeria in a 2-1 goal in the on going Africa Cup of Nations.
The goal which gave Algeria the upper hand victory came in the very last second of the four minutes extra time.
The Algerians who commanded the first half got the first goal through an goal scored by William Troost-Ekong. But the Super Eagles recovered in the second half and profited from a penalty kick.
Towards the end of the game, the Algerians pressed hard to get a decicive goal which was finally realized after a free kick at the dot of the added four minutes to beat the Nigerian defensive wall.
Nigeria is expected to face Tunisia in the third place match on Wednesday. It will be the eighth time Nigeria would be featuring in that position and had won seven times.
