After 3 Months Lockdown, the Lekki Tollgate, Closed To Traffic Immediately After the EndSars Protest, Reopens.

The EndSars Panel set up by the Lagos State Governor to hear issues from the Lekki Tollgate Massacre has approved the reopening of Lekki Tollgate.

The Tollgate was shut down temporarily after the footage of soldiers shooting live bullets at peaceful protesters which resulted into lost of lives and national properties went viral on the 20th of October, 2020.

However, the Judicial Panel established by the Lagos State Government to review the Lekki massacre, had approved the reopening of the Tollgate on from today, Saturday 6 January, 2021.

The decision to reopen and return control to the Tollgate to the Lekki Concession Company, the operator was made public today.
