The Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, CFR, Okukenu IV, has congratulated Family FM for its distinct professionalism in broadcasting and admonished the Management and Staff of Family 88.5 FM, Abeokuta, to sustain its integrity in service, as she celebrates five years of excellent service delivery and commissions newly completed building of operations.
Oba Gbadebo made the remarks on Saturday, 3rd of October, 2020, at the fully completed base of operations of the Family FM, at No. 23, Abiola Way, Abeokuta.
The Alake charged the Radio Broadcasting Station to ensure that Integrity and fear of God is shown in all their activities and service to the people.
The Egba Paramount Ruler also noted that the Family is the smallest unit of the Society and Family Fm 88.5, as the name implies, should ensure that they play a vital role by correcting the ills of the society and promoting good works through their programs.
Alake further urged the management of the Family FM to engage in periodic seminars and lectures to enhance the development and excellence in the outcome of their programmes.

Oba Gbadebo also said that the Radio Broadcasting Station had witnessed great development over the past five years of operations in Abeokuta and prayed that the Organisation would grow to a worldwide level and even delve into standard Television Program Production.
Speaking in the same vein, the Aare Baaroyin of Egbaland, Chief Layi Labode, who accompanied the Egba Apex Monarch to the commissioning of the new Family FM Building, said that the FamilyFM should ensure that they promote contents that would enhance peace and progress to Egbaland, Ogun State, and Nigeria as a whole and not otherwise.

The Egba High Chief and well known Veteran Journalist, further advised the Radio Broadcasting Station to ensure equity and fairness in all that they do and that the Family FM, indeed, all Electronic Media, should not broadcast against peace and progress of the people.
Speaking earlier, the Chief Executive Officer of the Family FM, Engr. Abdulateef Kayode Kilasho, appreciated the Egba Paramount Monarch for his love and support towards the development of the Radio Station and pledged that the Family FM would continue to grow into higher realms, and excellent and effective service to the people.

Dignitaries present during the occasion included the General Manager of Family FM, Engr. Opeyemi Kilasho; Mr Sunday Ogunsola Tantala, Master of Programmes; Alhaji Moruff Alao; Hon. Akeem Amosun, the General Manager of SweetFM, Mr Eddy Aina, and many other Media Personalities.
Some Services Chiefs represented at the occasion included TRACE Commander Seni Ogunyemi and Civil Defence State Commandant, Alhaji Abodunrin.
