ABEOKUTA: The Alake and paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo has called on the INEC to give incentive to the Registers voters in Ogun State to encourage them to come forward and collect their voter’s card
Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo gave the advice at Abeokuta while speaking to reporters at the Ake palace on-going collections of the voter’s card in every part of the country.
The Egba paramount Monarch express cosine that registers voters in the Ogun Central Senatorial District were yet to hit the mark of 2015 by almost 50 percent
Oba Gbadebo noted that it was the civic responsibilities of all eligible voters in Egbaland as well as Nigeria as a whole to register and vote for candidate of their choice.
He however hugged the INEC authorities to give simple intensive like stickers, Note books and other give items to prospective voters to collect their PVCs
The Alake also appeal to Egba chiefs, Communities leaders, Christian, Muslims and Traditional leaders, as well as all trade goods like NRUTW, motorcycle riders, mechanics to go all out and ensure that those who have register should go to the INEC office and collect their permanent voters card.
The Alake also uses the opportunities to appeal the political parties Leadership to discourage their followers from engaging in any act likely to cause the breach of the pitch.
Adding that elections should be by free choice not by cohesion.
