The Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, has called on Christians and other faithfuls to take advantage of the current lockdown to give succour to the poor and the vulnerable in their immediate communities.
Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, who was delivering his Easter Message, said that people should emulate Jesus Christ, who had given the greatest bailout and succour to the world by his death and rising again.
According to the Egba Paramount Monarch, the Egba Community Leaders should support Ogun State Government by coming together to give foods and other needs to members of their communities.
The Alake pointed that giving and sharing, especially at this time, would be a practical way to emulate Jesus Christ, who was out to give eternal life to all.
He commended all the Egba Communities that had already started to assist the needy in their Communities, urging them sustain their good gestures as well as urge others to do likewise.
The Alake also praised the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun’s for working assiduously to bring reliefs to the people, and urged all the well to do groups and individuals, to support him.
Oba Adedotun Gbadebo prayed that COVID19 as a stranger would sooner than later, leave Nigeria permanently adding that people must religiously adhere to all the Government instructions to stay alive and healthy beyond this Easter Season.
