Alake Commends Gov. Amosun for Adequate Security in Ogun

ABEOKUTA– The Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo has commended the Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun for providing peaceful and enabling environment for the people of the State.
Oba Gbadebo made the commendation on Wednesday during the official commissioning of a Ijemo Police Post, Oke-Ijemo, Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital.
Alake noted that, the present administration in the state had provided adequate security for lives and property in the State, urging members of the public to be partners in progress.
The Egba Monarch therefore enjoined good people of the State to cooperate with the security operatives, by providing adequate and useful information to the Police.
“I want to commend our amiable Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun for providing adequate security for the people of the State. You will all agree with me that, since the inception of the APC administration in Ogun State, the life and property of the people have been safeguarded.
“I want to appeal with our people to always cooperate with the Police in the State by providing useful and adequate information for the Police”.
Speaking on the new Police Post, Oba Gbadebo commended the Nigeria Police in the State under the leadership of CP Ahmed Iliyasu, describing it as ‘a welcome development’.
Also speaking, the Ogun State Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee(PCRC) Alhaji Ibrahim Mogaji explained that the provision of the Police Post would secure peace and development in Egbaland.
In his remarks, the Oluwo of Ijemo, High Chief Yinka Kufile, appreciated the State Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Iliyasu for his kind approval for the construction of the Police Station.
Chief Kufile therefore, warned residents of Ijemo Community especially the youths to desist from any criminal activities that may land them in jail.
The Egba High Chief Urged members of the community to assist the Police in eradicating crime in the community.
Meanwhile, the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Iliyasu commended the Alake of Egbaland and the entire Egba Communities for cooperating with the Police in the State.
CP Iliyasu  who was represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Wale Olokode advised men of the Nigeria Police to be professional in maintaining law and order in the Community.
