The Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, has called on the new Baale of Itoki Chief Kolawole Adebesin to rally round all the people of Itoki including all those who contested against him with a view to building a unity village and people.
Oba Adedotun Gbadebo made the call after installing the new Baale at the Ake Palace today.
The Alake advised the new Baale to deploy his age and experience in promoting peace, understanding and rapid development of the area. The Egba Paramount Ruler noted that Itoki was economically and strategically located both in Egbaland and Nigeria as a whole.
He described the West African Pipeline passing through the township as an agent of viable economic activities for the people which could only be achieved by mutual cooperation of the people.
The Alake also called on those that congested the post with Baale Kolawole Adebesin to cooperate with him and work together for the mutual beneficial progress of Itoki.

In his acceptance address, the new Baale Itoki, Chief Kolawole Adebesin, reassured the Alake that he would work assiduously to reunite the Itoki people and ensure that the area progress rapidly.
Baale Adebesin said peace process was actively going on to bring everybody on board.
He also thanked the people of Itoki for their support, promising them honest and purposeful leadership.
