The 35th Edition of the annual Lisabi Festival kicks on Monday, 21st of February, 2022, with a News conference to be addressed by the Chief Host and the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo at the Ake Palace by 10am
The 35th edition was rescheduled to this year because of Covid-19.
Lisabi Festival is a grand and prosperous event, where Egba sons and daughters at home and abroad and foreigners attend annually.
Some of the historical places that would be visited are; Olumo Rock, Igbo Lisabi, Itoku Cenotaph and many other remarkable places
However preparations had been made to ensure, that the 35th Lisabi Festival becomes celebrated and notable, activities marking the festival, includes; Traditional Wrestling, Booming of Guns, Ayo Game Competition, Scout Camp Fire, Cultural Display and Drama, and many other activities to make it memorable.
The Egba Apex Monarch would also address the Press, on the Programmes, listed for the Lisabi Festival on Monday, 21st of February, 2022.
A source close to the Palace disclosed that, the day would also be flagged off with special awards by Association of Nigeria Authors (ANA) at the Ake Palace Auditorium.
