The Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo has conferred on Mrs Helyn Zent-Sowunmi, the Erelu Bada Tayese of Egbaland.
The Conferment Ceremony took place at the Ake Palace on Friday, 11th of March, 2022.
Speaking with Newsflagship Correspondents, Chief Mrs Helyn Zent-Sowunmi stated that, she felt very honoured and loved to be conferred on, with Erelu Bada Tayese, noting that, it was God’s grace.
Mrs Zent-Sowunmi appreciated the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, for honouring her with such prestigious title.
Speaking further, She reiterated that, as the title says ‘Tayese,’ they would try their best in replicating the name and make sure that, Egbaland experienced more growth and development.
She added that, they would play an impactful part in sustaining Egba’s prominence as it was before 1914, and after Nigeria was amalgamated.
Speaking on the youth in the socio-economic development of Egbaland, She advised the youth to look inward and know that, they are valuable, adding that, once they developed the talents, God had given them, things would become easy for them.
