Congratulating the overall winner of this year’s Lisabi Festival quiz competition, Oba Gbadebo recalled that a veritable product of Abeokuta Boys High School, Chief Oluyemi popularly known as Osson, installed and instilled very high academic as well as moral values in the school during his first tenure as the first Principal

In his own remarks, while congratulating the Overall Winner, and Alumnus of the School, the Olu Itori, Oba Abdulfatai Akamo reiterated that, he was not surprised that the African Church Grammar had continued to live up to a greater standard, then and now, in terms of academic excellence.
Presenting an extra cash gift to the winner for doing almamater proud, the Olu Itori urged the Alumni, the Management and Teachers of the School as well as the Students to continue to work hard in order to sustain the good image of the school.
12 school from 6 Egba Local Government, participated in the final of this year’s Lisabi Quiz competition which Ahmed Adebanjo came first and Odeleye Paul came second, as well as Adebayo Taiwo who took the third position.
