The Public Relations Officer, Bikers with Attitude and Determination, B and D, Mr Olarewaju Adeyoola has called on all commercial riders to be safety conscious and patient while on the road.
The Biker who was speaking with Newsflagship Reporter, Sowande Joseph at the Ake Palace during their courtesy visît to the the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, on Friday, December 3rd, 2021.
Mr. Adeyoola stated that, many innocent lives were being lost due to reckless driving of some commercial riders.
He added that the lives of their passengers should be their priority not their monetary gain.
He also urged all commercial riders to abstain from alcoholic drinks, adding that those chemical substances do not always have any good effect but usually destabilise body functions and this oftenly led to road accident.
The Spokesperson, Bikers With Attitude and Determination, advised all Okada Riders to go for training, adding that, this would enlighten and correct their driving manners
Speaking further, Mr Adeyoola said the ‘Bikers With Attitude and Determination Group’ was not just a fun running young men and women association but an organisation that trains and enlightens people on road safety etiquette.
According to him, some members of the ‘Bikers With Attitude and Determination’ are also members of Roads Safety Corps, FRSC.
He explained that, members of such Safety Organisation show the height of responsibility in training and enlightening Commercial Riders and other Motor Drivers.
Mr. Adeyoola disclosed that, the membership of the B and D, made its incumbent and requisite for a member to be a recognised professional administrator or reputable business man or woman.
He also said that the group usually involves in regular charitable activities, social and community work, that were beneficial to the wider society
