The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has expressed appreciation to religious bodies and good people of the State, for the spiritual and moral supports accorded his administration in the last eight years, which attributed to the success stories.
Speaking at the end of tenure commendation and farewell thanksgiving service, organised by the State House Chapel for him and his team, Governor Amosun hinged the achievements to the cooperation of the people.
Represented by his Deputy, Chief (Mrs.) Yetunde Onanuga, the Governor said it is a thing of joy that his administration started well, finished strong and ended on a good note, adding that he remain fulfilled for adding value to the State more than he met it.
“We have experienced ups and downs in the years past, but your prayers and support had been the back bone for the achievements of this administration”, he said.
Amosun called on the people to extend same support to the incoming government, urging them to continue to pay their dues, in order to sustain the good legacies of the outgoing government.
In his sermon, the Bishop of Egba West, Anglican Communion, Bishop Samuel Ogundeji, thanked almighty God for the wisdom and wherewithal to run the boat of the State to a desired level, saying the Senator Ibikunle Amosun led administration has done its bit, having transformed the State for better.
According to him, it is undisputable fact that the outgoing Governor and his team had written their names on marble, leaving behind a lasting legacy.
