As Ogun State celebrates her 45th anniversary, the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has been commended for his giant and enduring strides, since the inception of his administration
The commendation was given by the Dagburewe of Idowa, Oba Yinusa Adekoya and the Chief Imam of Ijebuland, Alhaji Muftaudeen Ayanbadejo, during a chat with OGIS in Ijebu-Ode.
Speaking during the interview, the Dagburewe said that the State experienced what he termed modern Ogun State.
He painted out that projects that the Governor and his cabinet members embarked upon, especially the reconstruction of long abandoned Ijebu-Ode-Epe road, was commendable.
He added that the housing initiative has been massive, as well as the palliative work on our roads recently done at Idowa”.
Oba Adekoya described the leadership qualities of the Governor, as exceptional, affirming that Ogun State is moving forward.
Speaking on same issue, Alhaji Ayanbadejo, the Chief Imam of Ijebuland, expressed satisfaction at the rate of development, since the creation of Ogun State in 1976, addin that the present era of Prince Dapo Abiodun was excellent.
He noted that his infrastructural development strides had cut across all parts of the State. He argued that if we are witnessing this kind of development, the State would continue to advance.
