The Academics Staff Union of Polytechnics meeting with the Federal Government of Nigeria has again ended without good resolutions.
They both met today 1st February, 2019 to end the ongoing Polytechnics strike, but it ended in a deadlock.

The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics President, Usman Dutse in his statement said the government has put some offers on the table, but that there are still conditions to be met before the industrial action can be called off.
Recall that ASUP began an indefinite nationwide strike on the 12th of December, following the expiration of a 21 day ultimatum to government to meet its demands.
