BALOGUN OF EGBALAND TO BE TURBANED THE NEW APASE OF EGBA MUSLIM COMMUNITY

The Balogun of Egbaland, High Chief Sikirullah Atobatele, is to be installed as the new Apase of Egbaland on Thursday, 3rd of December 2020.

A joint statement by the BabaAdeen of Egbaland, Retired Navy Captain Rasheed Raji and the Grand Imam of Egbaland, Sheikh Saadallah Bamigbola, stated that, High Chief Sikirullah Atobatele would be formally turbaned at the Abeokuta Central Mosque, Iporo Sodeke, Abeokuta on Thursday beginning from 10 o’clock in the morning.

The joint statement disclosed that the High Chief Sikirullah Atobatele, was unanimously chosen by the Egba Muslim Jamaa to succeed the immediate past holder of the title, Chief Mutair Tijani.

It further disclosed that the Egba Muslim Community was totally satisfied that High Chief Atobatele was unanimously chosen because of his many positive antecedents in the promotion and propagation of Islam and humanity at large.
