The Installation of the new Akogun of Egbaland, High Chief Abraham Adebayo Shoyoye, JP, FAIMP, comes up on Saturday, 25th of September, 2021, at the Ake Palace, Abeokuta.
This was disclosed to Newsflagship in an interview with the Akogun himself, High Chief Adebayo Soyoye, in Abeokuta on Wednesday.
The ceremony which is to begin by 12noon, would be fully Covid19 safety protocol compliant.
A close membership of the family also appealed to the invitees to strictly comply with the safety Covid 91 Protcols, endeavouring to put on their face masks.
The appointment of the new Akogun of Egbaland, who had been the Balogun of Ilawo, was confirmed by the Ogun State Government some months ago.

Chief Abraham Adebayo Adisa Shoyoye is from the family of Chief John Akinkunmi Shoyoye (Lord Mayor) of Aro Compound, Ilawo, Oke-Ona, Abeokuta.
The Conferment at Ake Palace on that Saturday, would be followed by a Reception at OK Events Centre, GRA, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
