The Egba Paramount Monarch, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, has admonished Christians and Nigerians in general, what he described as a simplest way to achieve an enduring happier and more abundant life.
In his Christmas and New Year Message, the Alake said that Jesus Christ’s Good News of collapsing the Ten Commandments in Two, was an enduring and all seasons’ solutions to all ills and shortcomings, such as hatred, avarice, selfish leadership, spiritual and material poverty, cheating, cultism, and other social vices, now trending in our society today.
Oba Adedotun Gbadebo said that, if the country’s leaders, including politicians, businessmen, professionals, religious chiefs and laities as well as generality of the people, love their neighbours as themselves, there would lasting peace, progress and prosperity for all and sundry to mutually benefit and enjoy.
Oba Gbadebo noted that Nigeria was well endowed by God with knowledgeable leaders, vast economic potentials and uncommon human capital, to make the people happier and live well, if they love their neighbours as themselves as written by Jesus.
The Alake urged all Nigerians to cooperate with the leaders to make 2020 and beyond, a most fruitful and bounteous year whereby there would be enough for everybody’s need but not for everybody’s greed.
He then prayed and hope that Nigeria would be better, happier and fulfilled in the new year and beyond.
