Breaking-Lagos Fire Service Boss, Others Freed From Kidnapper’s Den


The Director of Fire Service in Lagos, Mr.  Musibau Rasaki and six others who were reportedly kidnapped at about 8pm on Saturday 6th April, 2019 along the Ikorodu- Epe Expressway have been released.

The operatives of the Nigerian Police Force confirmed this to Newsflagship on Wednesday, 10th April, 2019.

According to the reports gathered by our correspondent, they were released from the kidnapper’s den at about 11:45pm by a joint security force.

Some suspected individuals have been arrested in connection to the kidnapping.

Speaking with the police spokesman, Bala Elkana, a Deputy Superintendent (DSP), said the kidnapped were all released unhurt and have since their release re-united with Families joyfully

“The victims have since reunited with their families. The command’s tactical teams are still in the creeks and forests combating the hoodlums”, Bala further said.

“The command deeply appreciates the supports of Lagos State Government and the good people of Lagos who stood by us and also provided useful information that facilitated the prompt rescue of the victims”
