The Oluwo of Igbore, High Chief Anthony Olayiwola Oniyide has admonished the newly installed Bada-Aje of Igboreland, Chief Jonathan Oluwole Odekunle, to share his wealth of experience in order to fast track the growth of commerce in Egbaland.
Chief Anthony Olayiwola Oniyide, gave the advice during the installation of the Bada-Aje Igbore on Friday, 30 April, 2021, at the Ile Ologboni Igbore, Igbore Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The Oluwo also disclosed that the new Bada-Aje, who is also the Akinrogun of Itoku and Bada AsojuOba of Egbaland, had proved to be a most patriotic Egba son and was worthy of the Igbore title being conferred upon him.
Oluwo Igbore further urged the new Chief not to relent in his good works and uphold the great virtues of an Egba indigene especially in the promotion of commerce and industry in Egbaland.
Speaking further, the Oluwo advised the Bada-Aje to remain loyal to Egba as well as Igbore cause, as a chief among the Ologbonis.
Oluwo Oniyide also pledged to be supportive and exemplary in his leadership, pointing out that loyalty was a mutual virtue that should be upheld at all times.
Responding, the latest Egba Chief, Bada-Aje Igbore, Chief Wole Odekunle, expressed total gratitude to the Oluwo and the entire Igbore Chieftaincy Committee as well as the Igbore larger Community, for their unanimously appointing him to such an honourable position.
Chief Odekunle also pledged to be dedicated and loyal by joining other well meaning Igbore compatriots for the greater development of Igbore and Egbaland in general.

Egba High Chiefs present at the installation ceremony included Bantun – Chief Kehinde Sofenwa,the Aare Baaroyin – Chief Layi Labode and the Aare Bobagunwa – Chief Victor Abiodun.
Chief Schuaib Aro, the Jagunmolu Aje of Igbore, was also represented by Chief Oluwole Olanrewaju Folawewo – Lukotun Aje Igbore and Chief Olusegun Sokeye – Lukosi Aje Igbore.
