VP, Osinbajo, Alake of Egband and Amosun, Enumerate Reasons Why Ogun State People Should Vote Buhari


The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has been giving reasons why President should  returned for the second term.

Senator Amosun who was speaking at the reception for President Buhari at the Cultural Centre, Abeokuta, commended him and urges Ogun State indigenes to show gratitude by voting massively for Buhari


Amosun argued  that no past administration had much as he and  Buhari’s many achievements which includes, Lagos-Ibadan express 87℅ was in Ogun 

As for the Lagos/Ibadan Standard Gauge Railway System, in which 80% of the track was in Ogun State, Ogun had 200 kilometers.

Amosun noted that Buhari reinstated MKO Abiola’s mandate which earlier administration were cowardly to even mention.

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun further gave full assurance to president Buhari, that the Ogun people would pay Buhari back by voting him in the February 16 presidential election.

In his speech at the Ogun State Traditional Rulers Reception for Buhari, the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, congratulated Buhari for well executed socio-economic programmes throughout the length and breadth of Nigeria

His Majesty, Oba Gbadebo also pointed out that his fight against corruption was commendable; Alake also commended Amosun for making Ogun State a Business destination of the country

He thanked Amosun for achieving a very good and functional security for the State

Alake told Buhari that Traditional Rulers had educated voters well, he strongly appreciated what Buhari’s ingenuity in revitalizing a Railway of modern technology which was very key fast economic growth in Ogun and Nigeria

Also speaking at the occasion, the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo said he was very happy to note the heavy turnout of the Traditional Rulers.

Osinbajo explained that this election would define and determine what happens to Nigeria next in the next dispensation; he also argued that what Nigeria lacked was honest people.

He revealed that 1.5billion dollars was voted to revive the abandoned Lagos-Ibadan by the previous government adding that Buhari had now revived it
