BUHARI ASKS IGP TO FISH OUT PERPETRATORS OF LATE BOLA IGE’S MURDER

President Muhammadu Buhari, has directed the Inspector General Of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to reopen investigation into the unresolved murder of former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Chief Bola Ige under the Administration of President Olusegun Obasanjo.

President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, promised that the perpetrators must be brought to book. The killers of the two personalities, Chief Bola Ige and the ex-Deputy National Chairman, South-South, of the People Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Aminasoari Dikibo.

If you remember, Chief Bola Ige was shot dead in his Bedroom in Bodija, Ibadan home at about 9 pm on December 23, 2001.

Some of Bola Ige’s Security Details were said to have gone to eat while others gave other excuses why they had abandoned their post when killing of the Minister was taking place.
