Following the present Coronavirus pandemic ravaging almost all the nations of the world, Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture has taken sensitisation exercise to all categories of farmers and butchers across the State.
A release signed by the Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Adeola Odedina advised all farmers, animal health workers and butchers to adhere to hand hygiene, respiratory hygiene and social distancing, as preventive measures against the spread of the disease.
According to the release Cattle dealers and Abattoir operators across the state were advised to avoid over crowded, practice proper hygiene by washing their hands with soap and water regularly and make use of sanitiser as necessary.

It also discouraged blowing noses with bare hand and enjoined the use of disposal tissue or flex elbow.
