CORONAVIRUS CASES IN LAGOS; TWO TESTED NEGATIVE, ONE AWAITING TEST RESULT

The Lagos State commissioner for health, Professor Akin Abayomi, in a tweet on Thursday evening disclosed that there were three suspected cases of Coronavirus in the state.

Prof. Abayomi said the three persons suspected to be infected with the virus disease have been identified and are being tested an isolation containment facility in Yaba Lagos

He said one case was from France, another from England and the third one from China. The commissioner said samples had been taken from the patients and results were being expected.

However, the Minister of Health, Dr Dr Osagie Ehanire in a Briefing on the Coronavirus outbreak in Nigeria, on Friday stated that two out of the three suspected cases in Lagos on Thursday have been tested negative while the remainder remains in isolation facility awaiting test result
