Corps Members have been commended for their selfless services by sacrificing their time, money, and skills to produce different anti-COVID-19 items during the outbreak of coronavirus disease in the country.
NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim gave the commendation today in his office in Abuja, while presenting letters of commendation to some of the Corps Members that were at the forefront in combating the dreaded disease.
He urged them to sustain the legacy of hard work, integrity and never relent to add value to humanity wherever they find themselves.
He stated that their efforts have added value to the NYSC Scheme in no small measure.
“Be selfless in your post-service year responsibilities. Sustain the legacy of trust, hard work and continue to add value to the society”.
“Many of you produced sanitizers, facemasks, pedal-operated water and sanitizer dispensers among other things. We appreciate you and we are very proud of you”, he said.
The Director-General also advised other Corps Members to use NYSC Scheme as a veritable platform to showcase their potentials for both personal and societal development.
