Dapo Abiodun Wins APC Ticket For Second Term Promise To keep faith with good work in the State
The incubent State Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has won the second term ticket of the All Progressive Congress (APC), and promised to keep faith with good work in the state.
Abiodun won the primary election held at Moshood Abiola Stadium on May 26th, 2022, in Abeokuta, the state capital.
The electoral Chairman, Chief Wale Obu decleared that, Abiodun won with the margin 1,168 votes against his contenders, Akinlade Abdulkabir, Modele Yusuf, Remi Bakare, Olubiyi Oladipupo Otegbeye, Owoduni Olayemi.
In his acceptance speech, Governor Dapo promised to keep faith with good work, assure equity, and justice.
He added that his administration would continue to change the narrative of Ogun state positively.
Abiodun also promised to provide maximum security, saying that the reward of hard work is continued hard work.
Govenor Abiodun also appreciated the national Chairman of the party, Abdulah Adamu, all the party’s delegates, and members of the APC for finding him worthy for the position.
