Management and staff of Ogun State Broadcasting Station, (OGBC), have been charged not to allow anyone plant seeds of fear in their hearts due to the painful exit of Mr. Adewale Aderinale and see his death as God ordained and not a curse.
Secretary to the Ogun State Government, Mr. Olatokunbo Talabi gave the charge during a condolence visit to the Station in Abeokuta, saying they should remain dedicated to their duties, as the present administration would not relent in its efforts at ensuring the development of the Station by paying attention to their needs.
Responding, the Head of Service, Tpl (Mrs.) Amope Chokor, urged members of staff of the station not to entertain any form of fear, admonishing them to always put their trust in God.
In her remarks, the Assistant General Manager, Programmes, Mrs. Toyin Sogbesan, noted that it was a rude shock to lose another member of the station, barely few days after the demise of the General Manager, saying the visit by the State government, led by the Secretary to the State Government was highly appreciated.
In their separate remarks, Mr. Biodun Adelodun and Mrs.Titi Adeliyi, urged the state government to come to the aid of the station in terms of payment of salaries and putting in place, a healthcare facility that would enable them regularly check their health status.
Meanwhile, the Secretary to the Ogun State Government, Mr.Olatokunbo Talabi has urged the widow of the deceased, Mrs.Titilayo Aderinale to continue to put her trust in God Almighty, as the exit of her husband should not be seen as the end of the world, charging the children to remain focused in their academics.
