The Aro of Egbaland and Oluwo of Ijemo, High Chief Yinka Kufiile, has donated a Police Post at Oke Ijemo, Abeokuta to the Ogun State Police Command.
The Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo and Ogun State Police Commissioner, Mr. Muhammed Ilihasu are expected to commission the new security outfit tomorrow at 10am.
A statement in Abeokuta, explained that the construction and the donation of the Police Post by High Chief Kufiile, was in response to the appeal by the Abeokuta Police/Community Relations Committee, (PCRC) and support for more effective security of the Ijemo Community in particular and Egbaland in general.
The statement said that indigenes and residents of the Ijemo Townships and Villages were been expected at the occasion.
