The overall winner of the Big Brother Naija Show, Season 5, Olamilekan Agbeleshebioba, alias Laycon, has shown that he holds the Yorubas, especially the Egba Traditions in high esteem, as he sets out to pay a Courtesy visit to the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, CFR, Okukenu IV, on 6th of October, 2020.
According to a statement by the Ogun State Icons General, Mr Adekunle Babatunde Samson, LAYCON, who is referred to by his fans and supporters, as the President of the Icons, has planned an itinerary tagged “Laycon Ogun Invasion.”
The Itinerary highlights a Visit to the Office of the Ogun State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun; the Palace of the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo; the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Fresh FM, OGBC 2; and Royal Mandarin.
The statement further revealed that the Ogun State Youths said that they were very proud to identify with the BBNAIJA Lockdown 2020 winner, and hip hop musician, Laycon, and would be formally welcomed into Ogun especially to Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.
The Ogun State youths felicitate Laycon, who graduated as the best student in the department of Psychology, University of Lagos, 2016, and has proven his intelligence and great personality, as one of the Iconic Egba sons and daughters making waves over the world.
