FEDERAL COMMISSIONER SEEKS OGUN INDIGENES’ COOPERATION ON DEVELOPMENT

The Commissioner for Ogun and Lagos states in the Federal Civil Service Commission and former Ogun State Head of Service, Princess Iyabo Odulate has enjoined indigenes and residents of Ogun State to support the vision of Prince Dapo Abiodun led government in his quest to take the State to an enviable height.

Odulate, who gave the charge during an interactive session with the press, emphasised the need for people’s cooperation in effective governance and for true democracy to take its course, saying indication from the blueprint of the present administration would assist the State for accelerated growth and development.          

She noted that the Governor’s people-oriented programmes such as; Jobs Portal, Widows Welfare, FADAMA Graduate Unemployed Youth Scheme (FADAMA GUYS), Anchor Borrowers’ programme and Oko’wo Dapo among others, would further promote Micro Small and Medium  Enterprises (MSMEs) and overall socio- economic development of the State.         

Odulate said the interest of Ogun and Lagos States indigenes remains her priority in the Commission, assuring that, she would always support and influence programmes and projects that would be beneficial to both States.

The Federal Commissioner commended the strategies deployed by the Governor in bringing every responsible personalities on board in the quest to achieve his goals and aspirations, calling for intensified efforts on the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and tap into the human and material resources which the State was endowed with.

‘’The cooperation of all and sundry with the present administration in the development of our great State should be our paramount concern. At this point in time, It is our collective responsibility to ensure that our individuals wealth of experience come to bear”, she noted.
