The Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, Okukenu IV, has declared that as a matter of policy, the Grand Oaks’ Seaman Schnapps brand which had been the consistent prayer drinks and has been very supportive in Egba festivities and celebrations, would continue to be the number one Prayer Drink in Egbaland.

Oba Gbadebo made the declaration during the Isese Day and New Yam Festival Celebration at the Ake Palace on Thursday, August 20, 2020.

Alake also expressed with great satisfaction that the Grand Oaks’ Seaman Schnapps has been supportive of festivities in Egbaland for over fifteen years and has not backed down in their relationship with Egbas.

The Egba Monarch further assures that the brand would continue to be engaged in more of Egbaland Festivals and Celebrations.

Speaking earlier, the Zonal Director and Brand Manager, Southwest, Mr Benson, told the Alake that the management and staff of the organisation hold the Egba Traditional System in high esteem and would not relent in their periodic and continuous collaborations and support towards occasions in Egbaland.

Mr Benson also disclosed that Grand Oak regards the Egba Traditional Rulers and their people as inseparable partners, adding that Grand Oaks believe that the collaboration and cooperation with Egbaland would be enduring.

He further enjoined the Alake to inform the organisation on all Egba Traditional and Cultural Festivals for future partnership and collaboration.
