The Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, has dismissed the notion that he was still harbouring malcontents or any form of disagreement with the former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Justus Gbenga Daniel.
According to the Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, it was absolutely wrong for anybody and groups to imaging that he was still nursing any slightest misgivings against the former Governor Gbenga Daniel over the attempt by the Governor to depose him as the Egba Paramount Monarch during the latter’s governorship of Ogun State.
The Alake had called on Ogun State Government under Daniel to help repair roads in Abeokuta which later became a contentious issue.

The Alake further revealed that he was surprised that some people could even be thinking of any differences between the two of them in spite of various public interactions.
Oba Adedotun Gbadebo however thanked those who felt concerned and were seeking for mutual respect and understanding between them, commending their good intention and entrenchment of peace in the State, assuring all and sundry that all Ogun State citizens should come together to take the State to next level.
Earlier in his opening remarks at the Conference Hotel reception, a retired State Judge Justice Asiwaju Somolu, said that both Otunba Gbenga Daniel and Egba Paramount Monarch were his close friends before the two assumed higher State and communal responsibilities, adding that the three of them had been having mutual beneficial understanding among themselves.
Justice Asiwaju Somolu thanked the Alake for his Royal love and understanding and Otunba Gbenga Daniel for humility and respect for the Alake and royalties in general.
The Alake’s entourage to the reception included the Agura of Gbagura, Oba Saburi Babjide Bakre, the Aro of Egba, High Chief Yinka Kufiile, the Asiwaju Baasegun, Chief Leke Owodairo, the Baamowe, Prof. Ajao Adelekan, the Aare Akinrogun, Chief Musibau Babarinsa and Aare Baaroyin Layi Labode
