The people of Ikoga, in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the Ogun State, has lauded the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for approving the construction of Ikoga- Ado-Odo road in his ongoing developmental strides across the State.
The delegation led by the Olofin Adimula of Ado-Odo, Oba Lateef Akanni, gave the commendation during a visit to the Deputy Governor, Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele, in Abeokuta, who received them on behalf of the Governor, acknowledged the present administration as being responsive and accommodating.
While praying for successful tenure of Prince Dapo Abiodun’s administration, the Monarch said that Prince Abiodun was the first Governor to take interest in the plight of the people of Ikoga-Ado-Odo.
Responding, the Deputy Governor, Engr. Salako-Oyedele said the visit has shown that the people of the region do not take things for granted, saying she was proud to be a daughter of Ogun West Senatorial District.
She noted that there had been a lot of agitations due to the deplorable state of roads in the area, appreciating the delegation for finding time to show their gratitude, while assured that the Governor would provide more infrastructural development that would attract investors.
Also Speaking, Commissioner for Forestry, Hon. Tunji Akinosi also commended the present administration for approving the construction of Ikoga and other roads.
