The Nigerian Veteran Footballer and Coach, High Chief Kashimawo Laloko, who was the Olori Parakoyi of Egbaland, is to buried today.
High Chief Kashimawo Laloko, died on Sunday at the age of 76.
An iconic football coach and player, Laloko was a former Technical Director of Nigeria Football Federation, died at Sacred Hearts Catholic Hospital, Abeokuta, according to family sources.
The sources confirmed that the late veteran coach and Olori Parakoyi of Egbaland would be buried at his Gbonagun residence, Abeokuta at 3.00 pm on Monday-March 29, 2021.

Laloko’s death was confirmed by one of his sons Adewale who revealed that the veteran coach died on Sunday.
The late veteran coach mentored many Nigerian star footballers through his Pepsi Football Academy at Orile Imo, near Abeokuta.
These football stars include Mikel Obi, Osaze Odemwingie, Soga Sambo, Elderson Echejile, Joseph Akpala, Yinka Adedeji, among many others.
The death of Coach Kashimawo Laloko is a huge loss not only to Egbaland but Nigeria in general.
A former commissioner for Sports in Ogun State, Mr Bukonla Olopade also known as OZOGULA in his footballing days, recalled the great joy he experienced when he and Laloko worked together on the sports development program for Ogun State.
Chief Bukonla Olopade Ozogula, wanted the Alake of Egbaland, Egba High Chiefs and the Iyaloja Egbaland as well as other market leaders and his family, to note that late Veteran Coach and Parakoyi, had lived a fulfilled life, adding that Laloko had paid his dues to Egbaland and humanity.
Speaking on the demise of the Olori Parakoyi, the Iyaloja of Egbaland, Chief Kemi Oloyede, said that late Veteran Parakoyi had immensely contributed to the growth and development of markets on Egbaland, adding that his era had brought much needed peace, mutual understanding and prosperity among market men and women in all the six Egba Local Governments.
The Egba High Chiefs would be led to the interment of Laloko today, by the Balogun of Egbaland.
