The Chairman, Transition Committee, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Lawal has promised to take the Local Government (LG) to the next level by executing projects that would enhance socio-economic development in the area.
Hon. Lawal gave the promise in a chat with journalists at Ota, saying measures were underway to implement people-oriented programmes, as embargo had been lifted on LGs’ accounts, promising that his administration would be all inclusive and leave no stone unturned to fast-track improved living condition of the people.
“We are closer to the people at the grassroots and know where the shoe pinches. We will therefore ensure that we make life meaningful for the people in our community by providing basic amenities like, good road networks, potable water, qualitative health care delivery, among others”, he said.
The LG boss advised all members of staff to be more committed to duties by supporting the present administration in the LG to achieve its set goals.
