This year’s Lisabi Festival’s Ayo Olopo Competition which involved 24 Competitors from the six Local Governments of Egbaland; Abeokuta South, Abeokuta North, Obafemi Owode, Odeda, Ifo and Itori/Ewekoro
The game however served as a unifying entity among the competitors, as they all shared joy, enthusiasm and interaction with one another.
Two Gamers were taken from each Local Government, as the game was categorized into female section and male section.
After back and forth, Mr Johnson Adeoye, who represented Odeda clinched the first position in male category, while Miss Aderonke Lawal, representing Abeokuta South, came first in the female category.
Other Winners included Seun Ayedun, representing Obafemi Owode, who emerged 2nd position in male category and Fatima Adeniyi, from Ifo, who took 2nd position in female category
In his address, the Coordinator of the Lisabi Festival’s Ayo Olopo game, Mr Oyewole Obimakinde Alias Baba Alayo described Ayo Olopo as a unifying entity that could bring several set of individuals together.
Mr Obimakinde noted that, the competition was beneficial to both the youth and the elderly ones, adding that, the game prepared ones brain to rendering solutions to some life puzzles
He also appreciated the Grand Oak Plc, for sponsoring the game, praying that, they would continue to exceed in greatness and richness
