MACBAN Cries Out Over Alleged Incessant Killings Of Its Members In Anambra


Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), South East Branch has alleged that, four of its members were killed by gunmen and 60 cows rustled in Anambra State.

The Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Gidado Sidikki, disclosed this in a statement in Awka, claiming that the attack took place at a Fulani camp in the Ndukwenu Community, Orumba North Local Government Area of the State, on Tuesday, 31st of June, 2022.

Sidikki appreciated the State Government under Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo and the Security Agencies, for their very quick intervention to stop the killing of their people, adding that, his people could no longer move freely in the State.

He announced the names of the deceased as Mohammed Idris, Sale Idris, Abdulmumkni Idris and Musa Idris.

He added that, the remains of Mohammed and Sale had been recovered while the other two bodies were still missing.

Meanwhile, Anambra State Police Command was yet to react to this development.

Newsflagship recalled that, in April, suspected gunmen abducted 10 MACBAN members in Anambra State with 300 cows.
