The daughter of late Chief Moshood Abiola, the presumed winner of the annulled June 12, 1993, presidential election, , Hafsat Abiola, disclosed today, Tuesday, that the late winner of the was already rehearsing how to deliver his inauguration speech as the President before the election was annulled.
Hafsat said this, in her vote of thanks at a ceremony where her late father was being formally honoured as Grand Commander of the Federal Republic, GCFR, by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Hafsat Abiola disclosed that she was told her father never went beyond Fellow Nigeria in his speech because he was a stammerer.
While accepting Buhari’s apology on behalf of the family, Hafsat, also apologised to the President for anything her father, late MKO Abiola could have done or said to hurt him.
The members of the family led by the first son, Kola, thanked President Buhari and accept his apology.
