National Assembly Screening of Ministerial Nominees Continues.


The Senate, today, Monday July 29, 2019, continued with the National Assembly Screening of the ministerial nominees with Mr Babatunde Fashola, the immediate past Minister for Power, Works and Housing, as the first nominee to be screened today.

Mr. Fashola, during his ministerial screening session stated that the ministry was left better than it was at the inception of his tenure.

So far, three nominees have been screened today, making it thirty four screened nominees, including the Mr. Babatunde Fashola, Muhammad Mahmoud (Kaduna) and the first female nominee to be screened; Gbemi Saraki (Kwara).

Other nominees yet to be screened include Rauf Aregbesola (Osun), Ambassador Maryam Katagun (Bauchi), Goddy Jedy- Agba (Cross River), Suleiman Adamu ( Jigawa), Clement Agba (Edo), Geoffrey Onyeama (Enugu), Lai Mohammed (Kwara), Sabo Nanono (Kano) and Saleh Mamman (Taraba).
