The Nawair-ud-deen Islamic Society of Nigeria kick-start its 27th Triennial Conference, on the 19th of March, 2022, with the selection of new administration to steer the affairs of the society for another three years.
Newsflagship gathered that, the society during a courtesy call on the Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo at the Ake Palace, disclosed that the Conference would take place on 19th of March 2022, at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library OOPL.
The National Chairman of Nawair-ud-deen Society of Nigeria, Alhaji Surajudeen Soaga said, it was part of their responsibility, to receive the blessings of the Alake, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo as they are about to commence the 27th triennial, and we are giving back to him a chapter in the Holy Quran surah:”Duha” as our prayer for the Royal father.
Speaking further Alhaji Soaga said, the Conference does come up every three years, adding that, this is the 27th triennial Conference for the national and international levels where new officers would emerge as the new executives during the conference.
In her address, the National Chairperson of Nawair-ud-deen society of Nigeria world wide, Alhaja Muyibat Folashade Aderibidesi charged other women to take responsibility in leadership, stressing that women compliments leadership skills that can help to build nation and better society.
“The conference is also going to be an opportunities for all members to meet and discuss the pressing issues, way forward, and how to make the progress of Nawair-ud-deen society globally.” She said.
“As you can see Nawair-ud-deen society was always in support of women in leadership, because during the planing of this conference, there was a room for women, so I urged that society should always give chance for women, and I believed that, women shall always do better”. She added.
The Alake of Egba land, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, commended the efforts of the Islamic Society in developing the society for better place to live.
The Egba Apex Monarch therefore urged the society to continue the good job, noting that, he was proud to have them around, especially the Egba’s indegenes among them.
He prayed that, they shall continue to grow for betterment, blessings shall be for all members.
