ABEOKUTA-The new NYSC Coordinator, Dr (Mrs) Belinda Ameze Faniyi paid a courtesy visits to the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo in Abeokuta today.
The New NYSC coordinator mentioned that, the Alake and Paramount of Egbaland has been a great father to all. Adding that, she was a Youth Corp Member here in Abeokuta some years ago.
I served here in Abeokuta and I enjoyed every activity throughout my service year.
She praised the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Gbadebo, for His fatherly guide and advice towards all serving Corps Members year in- year out.
Oba Gbadebo in his response disclosed that there had been cooperation between Egba and Benin Kingdom, adding that both Egba and Benin are Family.
“As a Military Man, I received the first NYSC in Ilorin in 1973, Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland disclosed.”
Oba Adedotun also promised to attend the Orientation, and also disclosed that he sustain his gift of two cows to celebrate Christmas.
The Egba Monarch further expresses with great joy and prayed that she would leave Egbaland in higher rank.
