Nigerian Human Rights Activist, Omoyele Sowore has described the former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential Aspirant, Peter Obi’s defection as inappropriate, adding that, the act belittles the virtues and standards, politics holds in Nigeria.
It would be recalled that, Obi had on Wednesday, announced his resignation from the opposition Party.
According to Obi, he attributed his decision to recent developments within the party, which according to him made it almost impossible for him to continue participating and making constructive contributions.
The development however sparked divergent reactions from Nigerians and his supporters.
Reacting on the issue, Sowore derided the former Anambra State Governor.
According to a post on his Facebook page, he wondered how many Political Parties, Peter Obi would join.
Sowore noted that Peter Obi has dumped rogue PDP and reportedly heading to join rogue Labour Leaders at the Labour Party.
He also called the former Anambra Governor, a serial defector, adding that, he moved from APGA to PDP and now possibly to LP!
